MD Rebecca Brauch
As an internal medicine physician at Medical Associates of Cambridge in Ohio, Rebecca Brauch, MD, builds on training and experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She accepted this position following her training from an infectious disease fellowship at the University of Florida, through which she completed case reports on extraintestinal C. difficile bacteria and salmonella empyema. Rebecca Brauch, MD, presented her work at the 2016 Infectious Disease Fellows Forum and as part of the University of Florida Research Day.
Rebecca Brauch, MD, also contributed to a number of research efforts during her residency, which she completed at Cleveland Clinic Akron General. While there, Dr. Brauch participated in investigations ranging in topic from interventional cardiology to seasonal effects on suicide attempts.
Dr. Brauch has published work in a number of peer-reviewed journals, including Case Reports in Infectious Diseases and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. She has also contributed significantly to patient care, having implemented a successful lifestyle challenge program at Cleveland Clinic Akron. In her current role, she offers outpatient primary care as well as inpatient internal medicine and infectious disease treatment.
